Olly Hite is a great Folk / Acoustic artist from the Brighton area of the UK. He incorporates brilliant string arrangements and soothing piano to create something pretty special. Olly says ‘I didn’t follow a trend or style. We weren’t interested in following suit. We just wanted to strip the music back and create a true honest sound. I think we succeeded in doing that.’ I completely agree with those words, and I think Olly Hite has an amazing talent. Everyone should listen to this guy. You wont regret it.

William describes himself as an indie/acoustic/folk rock artist. He is a multi-instrumentalist, completely self produced, and has a penchant for including such multifarious elements as pianos, banjos, melodicas, clarinets, flutes and electronic elements in his music. He often includes experimental, intimate and family subject matter in his writing. He has toured with Cary Brothers and toured and recorded with Ingrid Michealson, whose vocals are feature on his most recent album. ‘K T Tunstall is the first obvious comparison when you listen to Jem Cooke. The English answer maybe? But we are not here to compare and contrast, Jem is surely soon to be THE unsigned female artist to be heard singing at the heels of the current ‘best’. With a voice to soothe and compel her audience, she sings to the sound of crisp guitar played by ‘Dangerous Dave’. Now living in London after a short time in New York, Jem is on the fast track to fulfilling her dreams of fame and the big stage. She’s definitely one of the best voices I’ve heard in a while. Definitely worth checking out.

The music of Bess Rogers is a carnival of sound, filled with thought, information, adventure. It is clear that this Brooklyn resident has done her homework and clearly made the right decisions. Even though her debut album took two years to complete, you quickly get the feeling that is only the begin for Bess Rogers!

Tristan Seume is one of the UK’s finest young fingerstyle guitarists. Delighting audiences up and down the UK with his blend of folk, country, Celtic and neo-classical styles, and with his cheerful stage presence, he has been likened to players such as John Renbourn and Gordon Giltrap. Jonathan Cutrell is an Acoustic/Indie/Rock artist from Cleveland, Tennessee. You get more than you expect from this guy, from great catchy lyrics, to impressive melodies. He combines good old fashioned American rock with more modern sounds, influenced by the likes of The Rocket Summer. Musically, his songs are reminiscent of The Hold Steady’s older stuff, but fused with Jonathan’s original vocal style, they make a great combination! Someone needs to pick this guy up!
